For a cool, put-together look this spring, add a glitzy statement necklace to casual ensembles! From sweaters and crew necks to stripes and button-ups, they’ll easily update the most mundane pieces.

When it comes to this trend, don’t be afraid to layer on the baubles! Pearls, gems and diamonds are your new best friends (not that they weren’t already). While chunky chains add the perfect touch of tough girl chic. Think the glam will feel too overpowering? Try tempering down the glitz by having it peek out from under the collar. Button-ups not your thing? A neutral pullover pairs great, and can do plenty to balance out the intense sparkle (grey’s a favorite of ours every season).

A beginner? This spring, kick it off with a striped basic—the nautical neutral allows plenty of play room when it comes to accessories. A bright satchel can easily take the look from downtown to uptown. While an amazing, pleated mini skirt (or floral prints!) and pretty red flats (or navy, black, or nude) balance everything out—a classic tactic that really helps tie a look together!

What’s your favorite piece from the Fall Winter collection?

Definitely the Claudia earrings. I think they are so different and I get complimented on them all the time. Or Sophie…..or Rory….how do I choose?

What pieces and outfit would you recommend for a Thanksgiving dinner? How about a Holiday party?

You can’t go wrong with the Noel bracelet at a holiday party. For Thanksgiving, you want to be comfy, but stylish. I would wear the Laura earrings with Becky. Keep it simple with a solid sweater (tan) jeans and riding boots.

What is your background?

My family and I live in Baltimore, but just recently moved from Chicago. I work full time as an asset manager for a commercial real estate firm. I travel for work a ton, but found a way to work Guy & Eva in. It’s just slightly more fun than my “real” job. :)

What made you decide to become a Guy & Eva Style Advisor? Did you have any hesitations? Have you done direct sales before?

I had never done direct sales before. I had never been to a home party of any sort. I just loved the jewelry and I thought “I can do that”. I was really missing my time with other women. I felt as if I was all work and kids. This is a way for me to meet other women in the area and it doesn’t feel like work.

How does being a Guy & Eva Style Advisor make you feel? Do you find it rewarding?

I love it!!! I have changed my perception of jewelry. I really feel more stylish and I like having my own business though its not large, I do feel like its mine!

What fall trends pieces do you have your eye on?

I love the Hailey and I can’t get enough out of my Rachel! I call it my magic necklace because it picks up the color from whatever you are wearing making it so so versatile! I also love that we added more gold!!

What would you pair with a little black dress?

Elizabeth. It would bring a gorgeous pop of color. I’d also wear either the Samantha or the Anna cuffs to tie it all together.

Any other style tips?

Styling is about balance. It’s about creating something that people see and also makes you feel good. Too much jewelry can be overwhelming. Too little lacks a statement. When styling yourself play off your features and be authentic.

Anything else?

I feel so lucky and blessed to be a part of this company and being honored to be Style Advisor of the Month! Everyone cares about one another and I know that I’ve made some of my best friends by deciding to join Guy & Eva. What do you look forward to most in the fall?

Fall is by far my favorite time of year. I love the cooler weather and layering clothes. I also love the Fall colors, the earthy tones in clothing, jewelry, and makeup! You will catch me decked out in camouflage with my bow in hand, wearing a bit of makeup and pretty earrings! My favorite part of fall is hunting season and KSU Wildcat FOOTBALL. Go Wildcats!

What fall trends pieces really caught your eye?

I love the new cuff bracelets, especially Becky in orange. I have to say I also like the Melissa, Kate and Samantha too! The wrap bracelets, Hailey and Ava, are two of my favorites as well. The layering and stacking of jewelry is so much fun!

What’s your favorite piece from the new collection?

Elizabeth. She is my favorite piece…it may be because I was able to wear her at our wonderful Guy & Eva Conference back in July! I swiped her from the table to wear during the last evening. (My daughter took all of my jewelry out of my bag before I left, so I ended up in NJ with none!) I, of course, let some of the wonderful staff know that I was just borrowing in case they noticed the beautiful jewel tones around my neck!

What would you pair with a little black dress?

Well, if I was wearing a little black dress, it would definitely be a special occasion. So, I would wear the Heather necklace. She is a beautiful statement piece. I may wear the Maggie ring for a pop of color too!

What’s motivates you on a daily basis?

Me. I don’t want to come off sounding funny or selfish, because my family and a variety of other things also motivate me. What I mean by me is, if I don’t take care of myself and do good for myself, do things that make me feel good and successful, what example am I providing for my girls and my family? I motivate myself to do better, be better, and provide better. I want to be the best me possible!
